Madeira is a popular destination for cruise ships; sometimes none are in, sometimes two, three or four together! Cruise Ship info.

Watch the cruise ship activity at Funchal Harbour, as boats come and go from the Marina and cruise liners tie up to the pier, and catch a glimpse of the Madeira Carnival, the Flower Parade, the Christmas lights, and the Madeira New Year's Fireworks display, one of the most spectacular events in the world.

NEW! The beach complexes of Lido, Ponta Gorda, and Barreirinha are all visible via live webcam.

Take a stroll along the Funchal Promenade from the Marina to São Tiago Fort for a great view of Funchal city and its bay.
Visit the 'Old Town', Funchal's most charming district with its bars, restaurants and cobblestone streets.

The Santa Catarina Park is a lovely tranquil open space with fine trees, shrubs and flowers. It includes a charming pond with a fountain and a quaint chapel that gave the park its name.
For a different view of the city, walk to the ferry terminal (on the right side of the pier) and then along to the end of the breakwater.

In this live webcam view we show you Cristiano Ronaldo's CR7 Museum, as well as Pestana CR7 Hotel, at Praça CR7 in Funchal, Madeira.
Cristiano Ronaldo's Bronze Statue - Would you like to take a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo?
Now you can! Well, at least with his bronze statue, in front of CR7 Museum’s main entrance.
As you can see from the close-up view of our webcam, this popular spot in front of the museum is always crowded with people taking photos. And, in case you don’t know, there is another statue of him at the Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport.

Porto Santo ferryboat can be seen at the far end — It sails most days to Porto Santo (well worth a visit). The berth is often empty by day but the ferry looks even better by night. Sailing details for the Porto Santo Ferry here.

As the webcam pans back towards Funchal bay, you'll notice Fortaleza de São Tiago, a picturesque 17th century fort that was built to defend Funchal harbour. Situated in Funchal Old Town (Zona Velha), this fortress looks great at night when the surrounding buildings are lit.
